1. What this extension is
The IntelligentWolf browser extension lets the AI agents in your IntelligentWolf account carry out actions in your own browser — opening a page, reading it, or filling something in — on the websites you point them at. By default that is any site you use; an organisation that wants a narrower posture can switch on restriction mode and name the sites itself. It exists so that work happens where you can watch it, using accounts you are already signed in to, rather than somewhere out of sight.
2. What it stores on your computer
Four things, all in your browser's local extension storage, none of it synced to your other devices:
- A device token. Issued by your IntelligentWolf account when you pair this browser. It identifies this browser and nothing else. It is not your password.
- Your list of named sites, if you have turned restriction mode on.
- A paused / not-paused flag.
- A log of the last 50 actions taken in this browser, so you can see in the extension's popup what was done.
Removing the extension deletes all of it.
3. What it sends, and where
Everything goes to one place: your own IntelligentWolf account. There is no analytics service, no telemetry, no advertising network, and no third party of any kind.
It sends:
- The result of an action your agent asked for. If your agent asked it to read a page, that is the page's title and its visible text. If your agent asked it to post something, that is whether the post succeeded.
- Which action was taken, when, and on which site — the audit trail, so the same history you see in the popup is available in IntelligentWolf.
- A heartbeat saying this browser is online and which sites you have allowed, so your agents can be told honestly when they are unable to act.
- The page you are looking at — but only when you ask about it. If you ask an agent a question about the page currently open in front of you ("where are the settings on this site?"), it reads that page and sends what it read to your IntelligentWolf account, the same as any other read. That happens once, in answer to that question. Nothing is read from your tabs at any other time: not on a timer, not when a page loads, not in the background. The tab is marked while it is being read, and the read appears in the extension's action log.
- If you have turned on action replay, a screenshot of the tab either side of each step, so you can watch back what an agent did. Replay is off unless you switch it on.
It does not send your browsing history, your open tabs, your cookies, or your passwords. Apart from the one case above — a page you have asked an agent about, at the moment you ask — it does not send the contents of pages you visit yourself.
4. What it never does
- It never asks for, sees, stores or transmits a password. You are already signed in; that is the point of the design.
- It never reads your cookies. It does not request that permission at all.
- It never posts, submits or sends anything without showing you the exact content first and waiting for you to approve it, in the tab, at the time.
- It never acts on or reads a banking or payment site, a sign-in or consent screen, or a browser-internal page. That block is built in, you cannot switch it off, and it applies even to the page you are currently looking at — being the tab in front of you buys no privilege.
- It never watches your browsing. It reads a page you asked about, when you asked, and at no other time.
- It never does anything while your browser is closed.
5. Seeing and stopping it
Every action happens in a visible tab, marked with an on-page badge that names the agent and carries a Stop button. A tab the extension opened itself is also put into a red "IntelligentWolf" tab group. A tab you opened is not: moving it into a group of ours would take it out of any group of your own and not put it back, so on your own tabs the badge and the toolbar dot are the marker. The extension's popup shows live status, the action log, and a Pause switch. You can remove a named site if you use restriction mode, unpair this browser from your IntelligentWolf account, or uninstall the extension, at any time and without notice to anyone.
6. How long anything is kept
The local action log holds the last 50 entries and rolls over.
In your IntelligentWolf account, browser-agent commands and their audit entries are kept for 90 days and then permanently deleted. That deletion is automatic and applies whether or not you ask for it. Everything is also deleted with your account if you close it.
Action-replay screenshots: 30 days. Deliberately shorter than everything else. A replay frame is a picture of your actual screen at that moment — it can contain whatever else was on the page — so it is kept only long enough to be useful for checking what an agent did, and then deleted.
7. Children
The extension is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13.
8. Changes
Material changes will be reflected here with a new date, and — because a change to what an extension may do requires it — a new version through the Chrome Web Store.
