Getting started: from signup to your first floor
Choose a plan, pay, and get your first floor set up in a few minutes.
Who this is for: anyone opening an IntelligentWolf account for the first time.
What you need first: an email address (or a Google or Facebook account) and a payment card. There's no long-term commitment — it's one monthly price and you can cancel any time.
What you'll have at the end
A working account with your first floor set up — the workspace where your business, staff and tools all live.
Steps

- Press "Get started" and choose your plan. For a business, Solo is already picked for you — it's the right one for most people starting out — and you can choose Consultant or Team instead. The price is shown the whole way through; see The monthly plan and Wolf Credits for what each plan includes.
- Add your details. Continue with Google or Facebook, or enter your name, email and a password.
- Pay securely. Your card is handled by Stripe — IntelligentWolf never sees it. You're charged today and then once a month, and the button tells you the exact amount before you press it. As soon as the payment is confirmed you're straight into the app. We'll also email you a link to confirm your email address — you can do that later.
- Follow the guided floor setup. Your first floor is created for you; a short setup meter walks you through the handful of things worth filling in early (your business details, a bit of brand information) so Alex and your staff have something real to work from.
- Meet Alex. The coach is the floating orb in the corner of every screen — say hello, or ask a question about your business. Alex already knows what's on your floor.
- Explore the street view. As you add more floors — for a second business, a client, or a department — they appear as buildings on your street, each with its own floors inside. Prefer ordinary lists and tables? They're here too, showing the same data — see "Visual view and Data View".
Tips
- You don't need to fill in everything on day one. The floor setup meter shows what's still open, and you can come back to it any time from Floor settings.
- If you're not sure where something lives, ask Alex — Alex can read and act on anything you can, so "where do I add a client?" gets you a real answer and a working link, not a search result.
- Your plan includes a monthly Wolf Credits allowance. You'll only ever pay more if you choose to buy a top-up or move to a bigger plan — nothing is bought automatically.
- You can cancel any time from Settings → Billing. You keep your plan until the end of the month you've paid for.
If something goes wrong when you pay
- Your card was declined. Nothing has been taken. Try again, try another card, or check with your bank.
- Your bank asked you to approve the payment and you didn't finish. Nothing has been taken. Press "Try again" and follow your bank's step — it sometimes opens your banking app.
- You paid, but the page closed or your signal dropped. Don't pay again. Your payment still counts: check your email for "You're in", or just log in — you'll go straight to your workspace.
- You pressed Pay twice, or refreshed the page. You're only ever charged once. The page checks with us first and tells you if you've already paid.
- You gave your details but didn't pay. Your place is saved. Log in (or use the link we emailed you) and you'll land back on the payment step, where you can also change plan first.

Ask Alex to do this for you
You can ask Alex to fill in parts of your floor setup for you — for example "set up my brand colours" or "add my first client as a floor" — and Alex will do it directly, the same way a human team member would, because Alex has the same permissions you do.
Still stuck?
Ask Alex, in the app — Alex answers how-to questions with the exact steps and a real link. Or tell us directly and we’ll reply within one business day.
