Visual view and Data View
The same real data, shown as a moving floor or as familiar lists and tables — one tap to switch.
Who this is for: anyone who wonders "is this a game?", anyone who prefers ordinary lists and tables, and anyone who wants to know what the street, the buildings and the staff are really showing them.
What you need first: an account with your first floor set up (see "Getting started: from signup to your first floor"). The switch is on every main screen, so there is nothing extra to set up to use it.
The short answer
IntelligentWolf gives you two ways to look at the same business, and the Data View is always one tap away:
- The visual view — your business drawn as a place: a street of buildings, a floor for each part of the business or each client, and AI staff doing the work.
- The Data View — four summary widgets (Needs you, Tasks open, Running now, Money outstanding) over one grid of all your work across every building and floor: tasks, staff jobs, questions, leads, invoices, builds and campaigns, with filters for building, floor, type, status, who it is assigned to and when it is due.
It is the same data either way. Nothing is lost or hidden by choosing one. And it is not a game: every building, floor and member of staff stands for your real data and real work.
What the visual view really shows
| What you see | What it means |
|---|---|
| A building on the street | A business, a client or a department you run |
| A floor inside a building | One self-contained workspace. The sign beside it shows that floor's real figures: how many staff, how many open tasks and how much money is outstanding |
| A red dot on a floor's sign | That floor needs you — for example an overdue invoice or a client who has gone quiet. The line under it says what |
| The panel beside the street | Overview, Money, "Needs you" and open tasks for the building or floor you've picked |
| Staff on a floor | The AI staff you hired onto it. Each shows what it is doing right now: working, scheduled, idle, waiting on you, stopped or off. "Waiting on you" is a real job that needs your answer |
If IntelligentWolf can't read a figure, it leaves it out rather than showing a zero — so a number you can see is a number you can trust.

What the Data View really shows
On the street: the four widgets and the work grid. At the top, four cards you can click to filter the grid under them: Needs you (staff questions, jobs waiting on you, overdue tasks and invoices), Tasks open (with overdue and due-today counts), Running now (which staff are working this minute) and Money outstanding (unpaid invoices in your base currency). Under them, one grid of every task, staff job, question, lead, invoice, build and campaign across all your buildings and floors, with columns Item · Type · Building · Floor · Assigned · Status · Due · Last activity · Amount. Filter by building, floor, type, status, who it is assigned to, due date or a word; click a column heading to sort; save a filter as a chip to come back to. It opens sorted by what needs you first. Click a row to open that item on its own floor.
Inside a building the grid is pre-filtered to that building, and on your office floor to that floor — each shows as a chip you can remove to widen out again.
Inside every department page: Customers, Sales (leads, deals, quotes, bookings), Money, Tasks, Calendar and Documents are ordinary lists, tables and boards. The switch is right there too, already pressed to Data View — because a table is what's on screen.
Steps: switch between visual and classic
- Find the Visual / Data View switch. It's the same small pill, floating at the bottom-left of the screen, on the street, on your office floor and on every department page (Customers, Sales, Money, Tasks, and the rest). On a phone, scroll down slightly — the pill sits just above the bottom bar, out of its way.
- Tap Data View. One tap. The building or floor is replaced by the four widgets and the work grid — same data, same figures.
- Tap Visual to go back. One tap each way.
- It's remembered. Whichever you last chose follows you to the next screen and the next visit — reload, sign out and back in, it stays as you left it.

Where the switch is, and where it isn't
We'd rather tell you plainly:
- The Visual / Data View switch is the same pill, in the same corner, on the street, on your office floor and on every department page inside a floor — one control to learn, not one per screen.
- The one deliberate exception is the Design and Build Studio canvas, where the bottom-left corner belongs to the canvas itself.
- Your choice is remembered, so once you've picked Classic (or Visual) you won't need to choose it again on the next screen or the next visit.
About the game-like parts
You earn XP, build a daily streak, complete daily challenges and unlock achievements — all on the Rewards page. They come from doing real work: finishing tasks, checking your pipeline, chasing an invoice, following up a lead. They are there to make it clearer what to do next and more satisfying to do it. If they're not for you, ignore them — nothing else depends on them. Your progress is kept in the browser you use, so it won't follow you to another device yet.
Tips
- New to it? Start in the visual view for a week. The red dots are the quickest way to see who needs you today.
- Doing month-end or chasing money? The Data View, sorted by Outstanding, is usually faster.
- The two views can never disagree — they are drawn from the same figures. A floor's sign rounds money (for example £1.3k); the table shows it in full (£1,250).

Ask Alex to do this for you
Alex works from the same data as both views, and Alex can flip the switch for you. Ask "show me this as a list" or "switch to the Data View" — typed or on a call — and the screen you're on changes straight away, no tap needed. Alex can't yet tell you which view you're currently in; the choice lives in your browser, so just look at the pill if you're not sure.
